NEW RIVER, AZ — Authorities are looking for a hit-and-run driver who killed a woman in New River.
At about 10 a.m. Saturday, a woman was jogging on the shoulder of the road near 7th Avenue and Cloud Road when she was struck by a pickup truck, officials with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said.
The woman, identified as 43-year-old Lisa Mancuso, died at the scene.
During an investigation, MCSO was able to track down the suspected vehicle but has not identified the driver.
Update: Witnesses were able to give a description of the suspect vehicle to MCSO detectives that ultimately led investigators to the vehicle. Vehicular Crimes Detectives are actively investigating this case and urge the public to contact MCSO if they have any information. pic.twitter.com/bPJWAa4ZEX
