Heather Berry is an Emmy-award-winning producer with over 20 years of sports television production experience.
A Bay Area, California native, she fell in love with sports at a young age, playing basketball, volleyball, and running track. Heather started her career as a freelancer, covering some of the biggest sports events across the country – her favorite being the 2006 Rose Bowl which served as the BCS National Championship game between USC and Texas. Her experience spans from telling stories about high school teams and athletes to the professional level (NHL, NFL, USWNT, MLS, MLB, NBA).
LATEST FROM ABC15's HEATHER BERRY:
She graduated from the University of Oregon, where an internship in sports television production and marketing launched her passion for covering sports. Heather is a storyteller at heart and always enjoys covering athletes away from their time on the turf, grass, ice, field, etc. Her motto is: “I want to make fans feel something, learn something, and want to do something. If I can accomplish one or two of those, or all three, I’ve done my job.”
Heather moved to Arizona in 2009 and began covering local Arizona sports on live broadcast, digital, and original programming platforms.
Outside of covering and watching sports, she can be found at a concert or up in the mountains hiking, fishing, snowboarding, camping, and enjoying time with her family.
